BEAUFORT SCORES A TEE-RRIFIC SUCCESS

Beaufort took the opportunity to launch its first golf day for customers alongside the CAB's annual general meeting in Warwickshire recently. Sixteen players took to the fairways at the Forest of Arden Championship Golf Course, host to some of the sport's most famous tournaments. The challenging course proved a true test of the players' prowess and there was plenty of friendly rivalry as the teams teed off.

Beaufort Secure Design, the Newport based aluminium systems company and part of the Blyweert Aluminium Group, is sponsoring the Smurfs, the successful Super-Sevens Rugby Team based in Beaufort's home town. The Smurfs stormed to victory in the 2008 tournament in Marbella and are scoring well in this years Super-Sevens tournament, having already won three of their five tournaments and been finalists in the other two.
