Beaufort regards compliance with specific environmental legislation and regulatory requirements and the promotion of environmental protection in general as a material objective of management and employees at all levels. We take practical steps in all our operations to:-

• Ensure that all activities are carried out in conformance with the relevant environmental legislation and government expectations.
• Minimise waste, promote recycling and reduce overall energy consumption.
• Establish a reputation for effective environmental management.
• Work with suppliers and contractors who have high and sound environmental performance standards.
• Undertake regular environmental audits of our activities.
• Manage and control our activities to ensure they have positive impacts on society
• Ensure that we give something back to both local and global communities

In order to ensure we achieve the above commitments, we have implemented an environmental management system which satisfies the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001:2004. This policy is available to the public on request.

It is our belief that we can endeavour to make our business completely carbon neutral and ensure that we continue to assist with the overall global battle against climate change.
