Operation

Casement
A window that has opening elements that project outwards. Available in top hung, side hung and bottom hung.

Tilt Before Turn
A window that has opens elements that open towards the inside of a building. The window operations allows both tilt inwards and turn inwards and mode of operation can be changed by the turning of the handle.

Reversible
A window that opens outwards and completely rotates on itself without encroaching on the internal part of the building. Design for ease of maintenance and cleaning in medium to high story appliications where accessability to the external part of the window is restricted

Top Hung
Determines the pivot point on a vent or sash. In this case it’s the top part of an opener.

Side Hung
Determines the pivot point on a vent or sash. In this case it’s the side part of an opener.

Bottom Hung
Determines the pivot point on a vent or sash. In this case it’s the bottom part of an opener.

Fixed Light
A window configuration that has an aperture that does not open.

Dummy Vent
A vent or sash that does not open with in a window configuration and is designed to replicate the opening vents or sashes. Dummy vents are generally used to create symetry on a window where alls apertures will appear to be the same, however, some will open and some wont.
