FIRST TO ACHIEVE 'A' RATING - BRE GREEN GUIDE TO SPECIFICATION

 

Blyweert Beaufort Aluminium's Advanced Plus window range is the first of its kind to meet this demanding specification. The Advanced Plus Window suite corresponds to the BRE Global Green Guide online generic specification for windows and achieves a summary rating of A for non-domestic and a ‘B’ rating domestic schemes.

FIRST TO ACHIEVE LEVEL 4 - CODE FOR SUSTAINABLE HOMES

 

Blyweert Beaufort's Advanced Plus window range further endorses its position as the most pioneering and benchmark setting aluminium window system by achieving Level 4 - Code for sustainable homes. Level 4 requires a system to offer a 44% reduction in carbon emissions.

YET ANOTHER SPARKLING PERFORMANCE

 

A brand new four-star hotel on the Isle of Wight is proving a shining example for high-performance, sustainable aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling supplied by Beaufort Secure Design and Midland Window Group. Designed, manufactured and installed by commercial sector specialists MWG, one of Beaufort's largest customers, the external aluminium glazing systems totalling ?300,000 fulfilled the demanding specification for the prestigious Lakeside Hotel at Ryde, which features an impressive eight-metre high entrance conservatory and covered walkway. Working to a tight four-month schedule, MWG fabricated frames for the curtain walling and a further 100 reversible windows using the TSR system which is part of Beaufort's acclaimed Advanced Plus 'A' Window Energy Rated (WER) aluminium system. The company also supplied 17 exterior ground floor doors, including two automated front entrance doors at the 65-bed hotel.

Science Project

 

Aluminium windows and doors from Beaufort Secure Design have been specified as part of a major three-phase refurbishment programme at Compton School in Finchley. The project includes both new build and the upgrading of the main school building's original steel windows. A brand new science block, plus replacement windows in the main building to match the new ones, comprised the first stage of the project at the north London School.
